Hana and Nick knew that they didn't want a church wedding and wanted something a little unconventional and the Henry Moore Studios and Gardens in Hertfordshire was the perfect choice for their wedding. They were so lucky that the unpredictable British weather was on their side so they could make the most of their beautiful surroundings.
Bride Hana shares her favourite moments and wedding planning tips alongside photos from their day.
I love being able to document the raw emotions and excitement of a wedding day and take pride in delivering stunning images that my couples will cherish for a lifetime.
I create a calm and relaxed atmosphere for my clients, ensuring that they feel at ease and enjoy every moment of their day.
Although I'm based in Hertford, I'm not just a Hertfordshire Wedding Photographer. I can travel all over the UK (and beyond) for your Wedding!
We loved the stage shots near the big sculptures at The Henry Moore Studios and Gardens and the sheep field of poo we had to walk across to get to the sculpture on the hill! My dress was held high! We also enjoyed the confetti shots and the photographs of everyone together. It was a wonderful hot day, so all the colours were bright and vivid.
We had the theme of sunflowers all over the place, which we extended to the outside space, the cake and the bridesmaids and the best man and the groom and me had sunflowers!
The Wedding cake was a lovely dairy free, vegan and nut free lemon cake by Grace - it was delicious!
I knew that I wanted a gospel choir! It was the first thing I asked for! They sang the songs we wanted, like Stand by Me and Happy. It was amazing and elevated everyone.
We chose Your Love Keeps Taking Me Higher by Jackie Wilson for our first dance. DJ Pete Andrews had plenty of people coming on and off the dancefloor. Though as it was a hot day most people wanted to be outside enjoying the summer evening.
Make sure you spend 10 minutes together as a couple alone on the day itself! It's so easy to get caught up in everything as it's a magical and fun day, that is full of excitement. So it's important to have just a few minutes to yourself, as everyone will want to talk to you.
Definitely do it again and again and again! It was the most magical day.
Sarah is an amazing photographer, she captured every moment of our glorious wedding at the Henry Moore Studios & Gardens on the 10 June 2023! It was the first hot day of the summer and I’m really impressed by Sarah’s ability to capture people mid conversation & laughing and joking together and the amazing choir too. I felt emotional looking at the photographs again! Thank you Sarah for capturing those precious moments & making our wedding so special! I would highly recommend her ability to direct and guide people into group photographs & set the scene for a wonderful, magical day! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
