There is something so magical about in-home sessions. Home is where you spend so much of your time, so what better place to capture some new memories. Whether it's playing with a special toy, jumping on the bed or just snuggling up on the sofa together with a book, these moments deserve to be captured and preserved.
We were delighted with the lovely photos you took. They were just what we wanted, really natural and in a perfect setting too.. Your patience and positivity helped all the children to relax. To get them all smiling and facing the camera at the same time is quite an art! Our frames are ready to be updated with our lovely new prints. Thank you so much.

Sarah has very recently been to my home to take some wonderful photos of my 5 week old daughter, myself and my husband. I couldn't be happier with how they turned out! Sarah was great at guiding us and having some awesome suggestions for poses. Sarah was also patient and very understanding when my baby inevitably kicked off . I will certainly be asking her back round again and have already recommended her to so many of my friends!
We have used Sarah for around 4-5 photoshoots now and she is amazing! She did a beautiful maternity shoot for us and my daughter, a wonderful newborn shoot, family shoot, Christmas shoot and more recently a cake smash. We’re delighted with the photos and memories that Sarah has helped us create. We’ve already booked her for another Christmas one and our christening next year. Cannot recommend Sarah enough. Super friendly and patient but also great photos.

Sarah was the photographer at my daughter’s Year 11 Prom. She did a wonderful job and took the most beautiful pictures. She was a lovely presence and very respectful of everyone. I would most definitely recommend her and use her again in the future!

Hi! I’m Sarah, the creator behind Purple Kite Photography.
- As a mum of two, I know how important it is to capture those special moments, so you can relive them time and again as the memories fade.
- I began my photography journey when I had my first child, taking thousands of photos to try and preserve their perfect tininess forever. Pretty soon I was taking photos of my friends' children too, and it naturally evolved into a business. And I've never looked back!
- Since then, it has been my privilege to photograph families, events and special occasions as well as weddings. I feel so lucky to call this work!
- I hate having my own photo taken, so I totally get it when people say they feel awkward in front of the camera, but it is my job to put you at ease and get great results.
