CAKE SMASH AND SPLASH SESSIONS
Celebrate this first milestone birthday with a marvellously messy Cake Smash session.
CAKE SMASH...
My Hertford studio is set up with a simple white background to suit any colour scheme. Or if the weather permits, it can be done in your garden.
We start with some cute portraits before things get messy.
Bring out your cake and let your baby explore!
...AND SPLASH!
The session finishes with a fun bubble bath to clean up.
What to expect from your session
My Hertford Studio will be set up with a white background which will be simply decorated with bunting - you may bring along any other props or balloons etc if you wish.
Dress baby in something nice as we will start by taking some portraits before things get messy!
We will then bring out the cake and let baby explore. You may prefer to strip baby down a bit to avoid ruining nice outfits. A cute pair of shorts or pretty nappy cover would be perfect.
A cake iced with brightly coloured buttercream makes for great visual impact and maximum mess! Avoid royal icing or fondant icing.
The sessions ends with a bubble bath to wash away the mess and provides another opportunity for some cute photos.
I will provide:
A choice of bunting for the background
A cake stand (though you can bring your own if you wish)
Wooden spoons
Bubble bath
Wipes and towels for clean-up
You just bring the cake and whatever you'd like baby to wear!

Your cake smash session includes:
A one hour photography session in my Hertford Studio (or your garden)

Cake not provided due to food allergy risks. Please bring along an iced cake - coloured buttercream icing is best for maximum impact.
