Katie and Mischa's summer wedding at Cheshunt Registry Office
The sun shone just long enough for the bride and groom to enjoy their wedding ceremony in the Octagonal Suite at Cheshunt Registry Office and for confetti and photos outside afterwards, before heading in to the Beaufort Suite for the reception. Katie and Mischa's day was full of personal and home-made touches and was a real international affair, with family and friends travelling from Canada and several other countries to celebrate with them.

Hi, I'm Sarah!

I create a calm and relaxed atmosphere for my clients, ensuring that they feel at ease and enjoy every moment of their day.

Katie and Mischa had a gorgeous, intimate wedding ceremony in the octagonal suite at Cheshunt Registry Office, surrounded by family and friends from all over the world, including Mischa's Canadian family.

Dodging showers for outside photos
After the ceremony we came outside into the summer sunshine for confetti and group portraits. But it wasn't long before the heavens opened, so we had to wait for a break in the weather to get couple portraits outside later in the day. Thankfully we could quickly decamp to the adjacent Beaufort Suite for a glass of fizz.

Couple Portraits in the park
Once the weather cleared up, we were able to sneak off to the lovely little park adjacent to Cheshunt Registry Office for a quiet moment and some relaxed couple portraits by the cute little lake and bridge over the river.

Speeches and Pizza
Back inside, the wedding reception was a very relaxed affair, with an endless supply of pizza to enjoy alongside a marathon of 8 speeches!

Katie and Mischa added 'Find the Guest Bingo' cards to the tables as a great way for guests to get to know each other.

Cake cutting and bouquet throwing
Katie and Mischa chose to honour tradition by cutting the cake together. Katie also made the most of the mezzanine in the Beaufort Suite to throw her bouquet - a playful tradition, often overlooked these days, sharing good luck and blessings with unmarried friends (supposedly the person catching the bouquet will be next to get married!)

Cocktails and crochet bouquets
After dinner there was a cocktail bar for guests to enjoy.
Katie had also spent hours crocheting beautiful flower stems for guests to create adorable bouquet keepsakes.

WHAT THE COUPLE SAY
"Sarah was the perfect photographer for our wedding day. She made us feel really comfortable, which was amazing as we aren't people who love posing or our pictures being taken! She made sure to capture all the special moments of our day, including all the small details we put time into creating. She was friendly and experienced, and knew exactly where to go and what shots would look good. Our pictures came back very quickly and she even sent sneak peaks for us on our wedding night. They're all gorgeous, and we can't recommend her enough!"
