SECRET ELOPEMENT CEREMONY IN HERTFORD

Kate and Jules wanted their simple December Wedding ceremony with a few close family members and friends captured before flying off later that day to the Maldives for an idyllic wedding blessing on the beach and Honeymoon. The wedding was kept a big secret, with only those invited being in on it!

Hi, I'm Sarah!

I love being able to document the raw emotions and excitement of a wedding day and take pride in delivering stunning images that my couples will cherish for a lifetime.

I create a calm and relaxed atmosphere for my clients, ensuring that they feel at ease and enjoy every moment of their day.

Although I'm based in Hertford, I'm not just a Hertfordshire Wedding Photographer. I can travel all over the UK (and beyond) for your Wedding!

I asked Kate to share some thoughts about their intimate wedding at Hertford County Hall:

What was your first step in planning your wedding?

We booked the honeymoon and then decided to get married!

Based on your own experience, give us some top tips:

Have the wedding day you want and not what others want or expect.

Which were your favourite photos from your wedding day and why do you love them?

I love the natural ones of Jules and I laughing during the service, they really capture the moment and us walking under the arches at County Hall, the light is incredible

Styling your wedding: how did you personalise your day?

We wanted it to be really informal and relaxed with less of the razzmatazz!

What were your wedding “must have’s”?

Simplicity, intimate and sssh a secret!

DETAILS

The stunning bouquet was perfect for this December wedding and featured wintry white roses and berries, cool green eucalyptus and thistles. Katie chose her beautiful wedding dress from Oliver's Bridal and Formalwear in Hoddesdon.

How did you go about finding your wedding photographer and why did you choose them?

I searched for wedding photographers on a local page on Facebook and Sarah had been recommended several times. I loved her style of photos on her website and immediately called, I knew from our initial conversation that I had chosen the right person.

WHAT THE COUPLE SAY

"I am so glad we chose Sarah to be our wedding photographer, from our first phone call, to a chat over coffee I knew she was the one for the job!

I don't know how she does it but you just don't know she's there snapping away, she makes it seem so effortless! She knows how to put you at ease, exactly where you all need to be and doesn't fanny about!

Sarah was super quick at getting our photos to us and WOW they are amazing! They are natural, effortless and captured the absolute joy we felt on the day, we couldn't have asked for more.

Sarah is without doubt a gifted and talented photographer and a wonderful, kind, friendly woman. I cannot recommend Sarah enough."

Kate
