This stunning outdoor setting in Hertfordshire was a photographer's dream for this natural newborn photography session, as it meant the older siblings could go and explore and enjoy themselves while baby fed or was settled to sleep. It also made for some precious moments between the new baby and her big brother and sister as well as making a gorgeous natural backdrop for the photos.
Happy children are the key to a successful family and newborn photography session, so giving them the freedom to play is a great way to capture natural happy smiles and also gives great opportunities to capture those candid moments too. You can see a few of my favourites from the session below:

I am based in Hertford, Hertfordshire, but as a natural newborn photographer I am willing to travel further afield to capture your family. We are very lucky in Hertfordshire to be surrounded by many places of natural beauty to choose from.
You may of course feel more comfortable having your photo shoot at home instead - the choice is yours! I love to capture lots of natural moments with your newborn - those early days pass by in a blur; an endless cycle of feeding, changing and sleepless nights, so it's lovely to have some memories of those first few weeks to remember how small and precious they really were.
