DANIELLE AND SAM CELEBRATED THEIR WEDDING AT PARKLANDS QUENDON HALL WITH THEIR MOST LOVED FAMILY AND FRIENDS
Danielle and Sam wanted their wedding day to reflect their love and personalities, without feeling pressured to follow traditions or expectations that didn’t feel right for them. Their main goal when planning their wedding was to make it truly about them, doing what they wanted while keeping it small and personal.
They visited a few wedding venues, but instantly fell in love when they saw Parklands, Quendon Hall. The grounds were stunning, and had everything they needed all in one place, which made it perfect for them. It was the one venue they both agreed on without hesitation, it just felt right for their special day.

SPRING WEDDING AT PARKLANDS, QUENDON HALL
Bride Danielle shares her thoughts on their beautiful, emotional spring wedding at Parklands, Quendon Hall.

Preparations at Parklands, Quendon Hall
"On our wedding morning I felt so calm and relaxed. My bridesmaid and mum were singing and listening to music, which made everything feel so peaceful and good! Sam, on the other hand, was a little nervous. It was a lot for him to handle, especially with our three boys to get ready as well. One of the most special moments was when we gave each other cards to read – it was such a lovely touch. Sam also surprised me with a perfume, and I got him the matching aftershave, which felt really personal and thoughtful.
My beautiful Dress was by Martina Liana, it was classy, and I fell in love with it straight away! I felt Like a real-life princess - the best I ever felt! The bow at the back of my dress was just a statement!"

The ceremony
Danielle and Sam had originally hoped for an outdoor ceremony, but on the day, the weather had other ideas. Thankfully Parklands, Quendon Hall has a beautiful indoor space for an elegant ceremony. It was an emotional one! Not least as Danielle's terminally ill Grandad was able to give her away.
"Having my Granddad give me away was such an emotional moment. He had cancer and only a few months left to live, so it was my wish for him to walk me down the aisle. He's always been like a father figure to me, as well as my granddad, and having him there by my side was incredibly meaningful. It was a moment I'll cherish forever."

Thankfully the rain cleared during the ceremony and we were able to get outside for some group and couple photos in the impressive grounds at Quendon Hall.

The Wedding reception in Quendon Hall's stunning marquee
"We walked in to the wedding reception to ‘Stevie wonder, 'Signed, sealed, delivered'! Our guests all stood up, dancing and clapping away!"

The Evening Reception
Danielle and Sam began their evening celebrations with the traditional cake-cutting and first dance, with their family and friends cheering them on. DJ Telfer got the party started with some great tunes, later accompanied by a saxophonist.
"Our first dance was the best part of the day. It was something I had always wished for and doing it with my best friend and soulmate made it even more special. Dancing to 'Tennessee Whiskey' felt like the perfect moment, just the two of us, surrounded by love. It truly was everything I dreamed of."

"My top tip for other couples would be to really soak in the moments and enjoy the day without stressing too much about the little things. There are always things that may not go exactly as planned, but in the end, it’s the love and the people around you that matter the most. Also, take time to make personal, meaningful touches – like exchanging cards or small gifts – those moments will stay with you forever. And lastly, remember to pause and take in the big picture, because the day goes by so quickly!"

WHAT THE COUPLE SAY
"We asked Sarah to be our wedding photographer for our small family wedding at Parklands Quendon Hall. Sarah was relaxed, professional and made everyone feel at ease from start to finish.
We didn’t have to wait long for the final images ( I even got sent a sneak preview of
one that night of the wedding!) and when we received them all we couldn’t believe how stunning they were. We’ve shown them to family and friends who all loved them.
We were so glad we had Sarah, to be our photographer, she fitted in with the day perfectly and we are so thankful for the photographs she took of our day. They are lovely memories that we will always cherish and look back at. Thank you again. "
