RAINY SUMMER WEDDING AT HERTFORD REGISTRY OFFICE FOLLOWED BY A RELAXED PARTY AT THE WHITE HORSE HOTEL

Rob and Heather were unlucky to catch the first rainy day after a 30° heatwave for their July wedding, but it didn't dampen the spirits - and Rob certainly brightened the mood with his orange flip flops! Thankfully, Hertford Registry Office is a great location for wet weather weddings, thanks to the glorious covered arches of County Hall -perfect for iconic wedding portraits whatever the weather!

The weather did brighten in time for the celebrations at The White Horse Hotel, so they could make full use of the courtyard to party with friends and family.

Rob surprised everyone - including Heather - by getting married in a pair of bright orange flip-flops, despite the heavy rain! The ceremony at Hertford Registry Office was full of love and laughter, followed by a hasty retreat to the covered area underneath the arches at Hertford County Hall for some portraits.

Heather's Dad didn't want the fuss of giving a speech during the reception, so took the opportunity to say a few words in front of his nearest and dearest while they were all together at Hertford Registry Office before they moved on to the pub for the rest of the celebrations.

Wedding Reception at the White Horse Hotel, Hertingfordbury

Following the ceremony, Rob, Heather and guests made the short journey to The White Horse in Hertingfordbury to continue the celebrations.

The White Horse in Hertingfordbury offers a picturesque, boutique venue for wedding receptions, where you'll be looked after by an experienced team, to make sure your day flows perfectly.

The spacious dining room is a bright and vibrant area, decorated beautifully with foliage and twinkling fairy lights, with loads of natural light spilling in from the skylight and patio doors, which can be opened right up to extend the space onto the patio in good weather.
